Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring Floating LVN / LPNs in South Riding, VA 20152. The Floating LVN / LPN would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend, and may require floating to other nearby locations.

Floating LVN / LPNs Compensation
- The pay for this position is $37.17 per hour.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Floating LVN / LPNs Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Required availability includes 6-10 hour shifts within clinic operating hours, scheduled in 6-week blocks
- Must be available to work some major holidays
Floating LVN / LPNs Responsibilities
- Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB tests
- Obtain vital signs and provide patient care under supervision of the provider
- Provide emergency care in collaboration with the on-site provider
- Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout
- Assist with wait room management, appointment scheduling, patient reminder calls, and chaperoning sensitive exams
- Prepare clinic and waiting space to enhance the patient experience
- Support a patient-focused approach to care and the clinic’s mission
Floating LVN / LPNs Requirements
- Full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in a U.S. State, Territory, or D.C.
- Graduate of a state-approved or NLNAC-accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience administering immunizations and providing vaccine counseling/education
- Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferably EPIC
- Ability to take vital signs and provide basic patient care
- BLS certification (CPR and AED)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Floating LVN / LPNs Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings
