Job Title: Legal Administrative Secretary (Hybrid Opportunity)
Location: Detroit, MI
Compensation: $23 per hour
Shift Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Secretary to support a healthcare governance team. This role requires advanced administrative skills and prior experience working with C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will assist with meeting coordination, manage sensitive tasks, and help organize board meetings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong multitasking abilities who is looking to grow professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage board meetings, including agenda preparation, document distribution, and meeting minutes.
- Serve as a liaison between the governance team and C-suite executives, ensuring seamless communication and task management.
- Schedule and manage executive calendars, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Assist with governance-related administrative tasks, including tracking action items and compliance documentation.
- Organize in-person and virtual meetings, ensuring all logistical details are in place.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and executive-level correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the governance team.
- Handle ad hoc administrative tasks as needed to support the team’s objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:
- Associate's Degree and completion of an accredited paralegal studies program required.
- Bachelor’s Degree with paralegal studies preferred.

Experience:
- 5+ years of high-level administrative or executive assistant experience.
- Prior experience working with C-suite executives required.
- Meeting coordination and governance support experience strongly preferred.

- Strong multitasking abilities and a high level of organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A proactive attitude with a desire to grow within the organization.
