Inpatient Social Worker (LLMSW or LMSW) Compensation

• The pay for this position is $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Inpatient Social Worker (LLMSW or LMSW) Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 8am-4:30pm with weekend rotation coverage

Inpatient Social Worker (LLMSW or LMSW) Responsibilities

• The Social Worker works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans.
• Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals.
• Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients.
• Services include, but are not limited to bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education and group therapy
• Social Workers provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed.
• Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient centered timely, efficient and equitable.
• Social workers also serve on designated committees and as qualified, may serve as field instructors for social work interns.

Inpatient Social Worker (LLMSW or LMSW) Requirements

• LLMSW or LMSW is required.
• Behavioral health is preferred.
• Newly licensed is ok 6 months – 1 year of experience
• Candidates will be given out biopsychosocial assessments, facilitate treatment team meetings, collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, run group therapy daily, individual therapy, and discharge planning.
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
