Location: Charlotte, NC or Detroit, MI (Hybrid)
Note: This role is NOT open to C2C candidates
The Data Masking Engineer will join the team in Information Protection Risk Management, protecting data in non-production environments and remediating risk. The position will be part of an integral team to lead the way in de-sensitizing data in a useable way in test, model, and development databases. This role requires understanding of relational databases, underlying tables, fields, and primary foreign key relationships. In addition, strong knowledge of data masking techniques and common use cases for data classification and remediation is required. In this role you will be required to onboard applications, mask data, and partner with internal lines of business and application owners.
Position Requirements:
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT/technology environment; 3+ years of experience in data/information security, managing risk and data protection
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data masking experience with Optim, Delphix, and/or Informatica tools
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases, data warehousing, and data protection technology
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or similar databases
• Experience in an Agile/Jira environment
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team/collaboratively, as well as individually; self-starter
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or other relevant field; Security+, CISSP, and/or any other relevant Certifications highly preferred
