(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Compensation
- The pay for this position is $171,500 – $200,000 per year
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Position Highlights
- This position is permanent and includes a 10% sign-on bonus
- Evening and weekend shifts required as scheduled; Week 1: Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri | Week 2: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat (Weekdays 12:30pm–8:30pm; Weekends 9:30am–6:00pm)
- The position may require up to 5% travel
(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Responsibilities
- Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical exams, and compile patient medical data
- Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, immunizations, wound care, and infection management
- Develop and implement patient management plans, document progress notes, and assist in continuity of care
- Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment compliance, growth and development, and health maintenance
- First assist in surgeries or perform other department-specific procedures as required
- Facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges, and post-operative care
- Mentor less experienced Physician Assistants and collaborate on performance improvement initiatives
(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care or Emergency Department within the last 5 years
- Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program
- Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire
- National Provider Identifier required at hire
- Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certification in specialty area
- Experience in acute care settings
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Fast learner with strong patient-focused clinical skills
