Pay Rate: $74.87
Schedule & Requirements:
- Full-time, 32–40 hours/week, including every other weekend, totaling 64 hours over a two-week pay period (Below are example schedules intended for reference only.)
- Shifts range from 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
- Flexibility required to float to nearby clinic locations
- Must be able to work some major holidays
Position Summary
Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based primary and family care to a defined panel of patients. This role focuses on accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, chronic condition management, and disposition planning. The Nurse Practitioner reports directly to the Practice Manager and practices both autonomously and as part of an integrated care team to drive positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform routine examinations and manage patient appointments to ensure positive health outcomes
- Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to support treatment decisions
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, preventive care, and wellness strategies
- Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, behavioral health services, and chronic disease management
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive treatment plans
- Complete administrative duties including opening and closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Utilize electronic health records and clinical technology efficiently
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, quality measures, and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current National Board Certification
- Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Candidates without primary care experience must successfully complete the Primary Care Training Program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon offer acceptance)
- DEA registration required at time of offer acceptance (unless otherwise noted)
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
