Pay Rate: $58.06/hr
Location: Onsite – Home Infusion Pharmacy (not remote)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
On-Call: Rotation required
Employment Type: Contract (potential to extend or convert, based on attendance, performance and business needs)

Position Summary
The Pharmacist provides medication therapy management and clinical consultation to healthcare professionals, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care. This role supports quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide drug information and clinical guidance to nurses, physicians, and healthcare providers, including drug interactions and contraindications
- Ensure accurate and appropriate medication therapy management
- Support pharmacy operations, including workflow efficiency, inventory management, and financial performance
- Monitor medication storage and inventory to ensure compliance and optimize supply levels
- Administer clinical and wellness services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and disease state management
- Collaborate with insurance providers and participate in third-party audits
- Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers to support patient care and business growth
- Assist in developing pharmacy support staff through training and task delegation
- Promote and uphold strong customer service standards across the team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Active Pharmacist license in South Carolina (in good standing)
- Verified High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 5 years of professional experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in basic computer and digital tools
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a home infusion or hospital pharmacy setting
- Experience with Epic or similar healthcare systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
