Compounding Pharmacy Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $17.71 per hour.
- Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- This is a contract assignment with the potential to be hired permanently based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification is preferred (not required).
- 830 am to 530 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch

- Medication Preparation: Under the supervision of a pharmacist, prepare and package medications and supplies for shipment to patients.
- Compounding: Assist with the compounding of sterile products and maintain the clean room suite to USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control processes, including labeling, counting, and storing medications.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent service is provided to both internal and external customers.
- Documentation: Complete documentation for inventory management, medication storage, and preparation.
- Sanitization: Maintain a clean work environment, including the cleanroom suite, according to safety guidelines.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws and Coram CVS specialty guidelines.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred, not required).
- 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in compounding or administrative support.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience with sterile compounding and maintaining USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience working with hazardous medications or in a cleanroom setting is a plus.
