Immunizing Pharmacist Highlights

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Onsite: Onsite / patient-facing
• Assignment Type: Temporary (approx. 10 weeks)
• Anticipated Start: Aug 23, 2026
• Anticipated End: Oct 31, 2026
• Openings: 1
• Important: Candidate questionnaire must be included with all submissions

Responsibilities

• Administer multiple immunizations (e.g., flu, shingles, COVID, etc.).
• Provide empathetic, compassionate patient care and customer support.
• Adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic community healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver better patient outcomes.
• Help promote a team culture of caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Apply clinical knowledge to support and drive healthy outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license in Iowa
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Valid Driver’s License
• No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances
• Ability to work on-site as needed
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred

• Prior vaccine administration experience
• Strong patient-facing communication skills; ability to demonstrate empathy/compassion
• Comfort adapting to change and supporting a positive team culture
