Nurse Practitioner Float Compensation
- Pay rate: $75.00/hr
- Benefits: Available after 90 days of employment
- 401(k): With company match after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates)
- Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Schedule requirement: Weekdays 8:30 AM–7:30 PM; Weekends 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Typically requires working 3 out of every 6 weekends (possible holiday rotations)
- On-site / patient-facing role

Provide evidence-based primary and family care in a retail clinic setting, delivering assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education.
Nurse Practitioner Float Responsibilities
- Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning
- Perform routine examinations and manage patient appointments
- Support chronic condition management, wellness services, and health screenings
- Complete diagnostic tests and discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Handle clinic administrative duties (opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory during the first 90 days
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri (in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
- Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program + current national board certification
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA required) — screenshot required for submission
- Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as an NP (family medicine / primary care practice / urgent care)
- Comfortable with technology/EMR systems and strong written/verbal communication
- Experience with quality measures and chronic disease management
- Strong organization, multitasking, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Willingness to float/occasionally travel beyond the standard area if needed (as required by client)
