We’re hiring a Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based primary and family care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting. You’ll work collaboratively with a clinical care team to assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while supporting strong outcomes for an assigned patient panel.
(FNP )Family Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care / Urgent Care Clinic What you’ll do
- Provide primary/family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and disposition planning
- Perform routine exams and support diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Support chronic condition management, wellness/behavioral health initiatives, and health screenings
- Complete clinic support tasks (opening/closing, inventory, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, maintaining a clean environment)
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
- 1+ year recent NP experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina (NC) (in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
- Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program + current national board certification
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive, patient-facing, on-site role
- DEA registration may be required during onboarding (role-dependent)
- Weekend/holiday expectations: typically 3 of every 6 weekends, with possible holiday rotation
- Some float/travel may be requested based on clinic needs (discussed during process)
- Mon–Fri: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
- Sat: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Sun: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Specific shifts will be assigned within these hours.)
