LPN Highlights

• The pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
  • Rotating schedule; weekends required
  • Must be available for any 8-hour shift (30-minute lunch)
  • Shifts may change based on facility needs
  • Onsite position
  • This position is a contract role

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care within LPN scope of practice per Ohio Revised Code (4723.01–4723.40)
  • Perform skilled nursing procedures including vital signs, oxygen therapy, wound care, catheterization, enteral feedings, and medication administration
  • Administer controlled and non-controlled medications via multiple routes
  • Monitor patient conditions, document care, and report changes to RN/Physician
  • Respond to emergencies, perform CPR, and utilize AED as needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records, MARs, incident reports, and infection control documentation
  • Verify and implement physician orders
  • Maintain controlled substance accountability and report discrepancies immediately
  • Coordinate with pharmacy to maintain medication inventory
  • Maintain clean, organized, and stocked medical work areas
  • Provide clerical support as needed (phones, filing, faxing)
  • Assist with training and work direction of lower-level staff
  • Attend medical appointments and interdisciplinary meetings as required
  • Support patient supervision and respond to alarms
  • Communicate nursing needs with Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Active Ohio LPN License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
  • Must be available for any assigned shift
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Experience in developmental disabilities or long-term care preferred
