Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring 1st Shift Assembler in San Jose CA 95131. The 1st Shift Assembler would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

1st Shift Assembler Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $26 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

1st Shift Assembler Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
    • The required availability for this position is 1st shift Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

1st Shift Assembler Responsibilities

  • Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center.
  • Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials.
  • May prepare goods for final shipment.
  • May prepare, coordinate, and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international.
  • Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs.
  • The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive.
  • The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.

1st Shift Assembler Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker.
  • Forklift Certification required.
  • May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.
