Compensation: Salary range $84,400 – $129,200 annually
Additional Compensation: Eligible for variable compensation (up to $10,500 annually)

Position Overview
The Finance Manager (Lab) will lead a high-performing analytics and finance team supporting laboratory operations. This role is responsible for financial reporting, analytics, pricing and contract analysis, profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting support, process improvement initiatives, and executive-level reporting. The position partners closely with sales, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders and reports directly to the Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the DeLand-based accounting, financial reporting, and data analytics team

Lead, delegate, and prioritize projects and requests for the analytics team while ensuring high-quality analytical output

Develop presentation-ready materials and executive-level decks for senior leadership

Gather, analyze, present, and explain operational and financial performance metrics

Build and maintain complex financial models related to pricing, profitability, operational capacity, and performance

Analyze financial and operational data and make recommendations to improve operational effectiveness

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Coordinate and review month-end close processes

Respond to ad hoc financial, operational, and analytical requests

Lead and/or support complex, cross-functional process improvement initiatives

Develop a deep understanding of internal customer and user needs and deploy resources to deliver effective analytical solutions

Collaborate with corporate and field teams across multiple levels of the organization

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
-
Minimum of 2 years of people management experience
-
Extensive experience with financial systems and financial reporting
-
Strong business process analysis and data analytics skills
-
Proven ability to build complex financial models for profitability, pricing, and operational analysis

Proficiency with report-writing tools such as COGNOS or Crystal Reports
-
Intermediate-level SQL query writing skills
-
Solid understanding of relational database concepts

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder-facing skills
-
Demonstrated ability to manage teams, delegate work, and ensure analytical accuracy
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

MBA, CPA, or MAcc (CPA strongly preferred)

Six Sigma training or experience
-
Healthcare and/or laboratory services industry experience
