Adult Psych RN Registered Nurse Compensation

• The pay for this position is $2000 per week

Adult Psych RN Registered Nurse Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is overnight 3 x 12 hour shifts

Adult Psych RN Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate environment for the adult psychiatric patient, by actively engaging, observing and intervening when indicated using the least restrictive actions to maintain patient safety
• Able to effectively deal with verbally aggressive and agitated individuals.
• Utilize a team approach to address and adapt to unpredictable and rapidly changing circumstances
• Knowledgeable regarding regulatory mandates of an Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit, according to the State of Ohio, Joint Commission and CMS

Adult Psych RN Registered Nurse Requirements

• 2+ years of recent adult (17+) psych experience is required. Ratios 1:5/6.
• BLS & CPI blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute required
• Ohio RN license or compact license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Adult Psych RN Registered Nurse Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy wound assessment and wound care
• Risk assessment & intervention IV-infusions and maintenance.
