Aging Services Quality and Compliance Coordinator Hours
- 8a – 4pm (30 min lunch)
- Mainly remote -some travel may be required - Northampton, Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia.
Aging Services Quality and Compliance Coordinator Compensation
- The pay for this position is $25.00-28.00 an hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Aging Services Quality and Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with program standards, policies, and procedures related to PDA-funded services.
- Assess the overall quality of Aging programs and provide technical assistance and consultation to AAAs regarding quality management, clinical operations, and administrative practices.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all PDA Aging programs, services, policies, and procedures; effectively communicate information to AAAs, PDA staff, consumers, families, and public entities.
- Utilize IT systems, including WellSky/A&D, to support monitoring activities, track compliance, and manage data.
- Prepare detailed reports on monitoring findings, site visits, and agency interactions using appropriate technology.
- Support AAAs in the development and completion of Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to ensure program compliance.
- Evaluate agency operations and recommend improvements to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to address complex or sensitive issues.
- Review and provide feedback on program and policy documents as requested.
- Assist in the creation and dissemination of educational materials to support agency compliance and performance.
- Represent PDA on committees, workgroups, and taskforces as assigned.
- Deliver public presentations and communicate PDA objectives, goals, and policies to diverse audiences, including local agencies and state-level stakeholders.
- Foster productive relationships with county and state partners, maintaining a professional and cooperative demeanor.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking, to effectively convey complex information.
- Offer guidance and technical support to AAAs regarding quality assurance and program compliance.
- Interpret and explain PDA Aging policies and procedures as needed or requested.
- Complete special projects and additional assignments as directed by supervisory or senior staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Bureau of Quality Assurance.
Aging Services Quality and Compliance Coordinator Requirements
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of quality assurance and risk management.
- Experience/working knowledge of home and community-based services or human services.
- Bachelor's degree in the social or behavioral sciences, public health, or a related field.
