Payer Enrollment Coordinator Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Highlights

  • This position is an on-site role at: 200 Highland Corporate Drive, Cumberland, RI 02864
  • Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Great team environment with a full cafeteria available onsite
  • The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Submit initial and revalidation applications for providers and clinics (Medicare and Medicaid)
  • Provide quality control for timely and accurate enrollment applications
  • Research and resolve claims issues for government payers in billing systems
  • Manage provider information updates for credentialing and billing systems
  • Communicate with providers, managers, and field staff to obtain documentation and resolve escalations
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial payer enrollment
  • Track and report enrollment trends/issues to management to reduce denials and maintain compliance

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • 1–3 years of experience with government payers (Medicare/Medicaid) preferred
  • Strong skills in Excel and Outlook
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Payer Enrollment Coordinator Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in insurance, credentialing, or payer enrollment processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
