A-Line Staffing is now hiring an Interventional Radiology Technician in Morristown, NJ 07960.
The Interventional Radiology Technician will be working for a Major healthcare organization and offers strong career growth potential.
Interventional Radiology Technician Highlights:

  • Schedule:

    • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, four (4) days per week, Monday–Friday

    • One flexible day off per week

    • On-Call Requirements:

      • Every 4th weekend: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM

      • One evening on-call shift per week: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Pay Range: $70-$75 hourly (based on experience)
Interventional Radiology Technician Responsibilities:

  • Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases, scrubbing side-by-side with specialty proceduralists

  • Scrub assist for neuro and vascular interventional radiology caseloads

  • Operate and demonstrate strong working knowledge of floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems

  • Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex interventional products during procedures

  • Apply critical thinking skills during neuro-interventional and high-complexity cases to support proceduralists

  • Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and interventional procedures

  • Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards while setting up procedural trays

  • Utilize closed-loop communication to support patient safety and team efficiency

  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons

  • Perform groin management post-intervention

  • Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and transmit images to Sectra/PACS

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced interventional environment
Interventional Radiology Technician Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist

    • Neuro and scrub assist experience required

  • Licensure & Certifications (Required):

    • Current NJ Radiographic Licensure

    • ARRT Radiography (R) certification

    • BLS certification from an American Heart Association provider or equivalent with skills demonstration

  • Education (Required):

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Associate Degree or completion of an accredited radiographic program

This role is similar to a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT); however, NJ radiographic licensure is mandatory to operate X-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
