Ambulatory Registered Dietitian (Hybrid) | DIRECT HIRE

Location: Seaford, DE | Travel to Salisbury, MD (every other Friday)
Compensation: $58,780.80–$91,124.80 (DOE)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 (new grads) | Up to $10,000 (1+ years' experience)
Schedule: 4x10s or 5x8s | Monday–Friday | No nights, holidays, or weekends
Remote Flexibility: Hybrid working schedule available after orientation

About the Role
Join a high-volume outpatient clinic specializing in Medical Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery. As a key team member, the Ambulatory RD provides individualized nutrition support pre- and post-surgery, helping patients achieve sustainable health goals. Flexible scheduling and hybrid options promote excellent work-life balance.
  • Provide nutrition guidance and counseling to metabolic and bariatric surgery patients (pre- and post-operative).
  • Analyze patient data, assess nutrition status, and formulate nutrition care plans.
  • Serve as co-administrator for online applications/software supporting bariatric patients.
  • Assist in developing the center’s nutrition programs and patient/staff education.
  • Maintain and update the Nutrition Guide per current guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison among the weight loss center, bariatric coordinator, and surgeons.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dietary information submission for surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with MBS Coordinator for dietary service coordination.
  • Lead support groups and track attendance for surgical patients.
  • Participate in team rounds, meetings, and assigned committees.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
  • Engage in QI activities to maintain MBSAQIP Accreditation.
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (RD); Licensed in DE and MD (reimbursement available for one missing license).
  • Degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.
  • One year of clinical nutrition experience preferred; Epic experience a plus.
