Job Description
Customer Contract Administrator II – MMS Dispensing (Contract & Compliance)
A global medical technology company is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support MMS Dispensing Committed Contract & Compliance functions within Customer Contract Administration. This is a 6-month contract assignment with possible extension and potential conversion to full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite – minimum 4 days per week in office: Monday–Thursday)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate: Not to exceed $32/hour
Role Overview
This position supports capital contracting and compliance activities across MMS Dispensing teams. The role is responsible for reviewing, assembling, and executing complete contractual packages while ensuring compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and corporate contracting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves reviewing and auditing contract documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to execution. The position coordinates with multiple MMS Dispensing teams to support contract preparation and workflow progression. Responsibilities include maintaining contract records, supporting pre- and post-signature contracting activities, and ensuring alignment with company policies, product programs, and regulatory requirements.
Additional duties include supporting billing and revenue-related contract components, assisting with asset and product-related documentation, and escalating issues when compliance or contractual risks are identified. The role requires maintaining awareness of product offerings, contracting policies, and applicable regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, antitrust guidelines, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and internal audit controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, though relevant experience may substitute. Candidates should have 1–3 years of contract administration or related experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and SAP is required.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex, multi-step workflows independently. Effective written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to interact professionally across multiple business levels and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with commercial contracting processes, including pricing, billing, invoicing, and contract lifecycle management, is preferred.
