Senior Financial Analyst Compensation
• The pay for this position is $48.29 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Senior Financial Analyst Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Fully remote role
Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities
Finance/Accounting:
• Lead the month-end close process, including expense (AP) tracking, accrual bookings, and variance commentary
• Manage quarterly reforecasting and annual planning by consulting with Sales Leaders to ensure cost centers are adequately funded
• Act as the liaison between external vendors, procurement, accounts payable, accounting, and (SCOE) operations
Data Analytics and Reporting:
• Analyze, explain, and present month-end & quarter-end performance results to external vendors and internal teams
• Identify trends and advise senior management on budget needs and cost-saving opportunities
• Provide oversight of financial models and dashboards, enhancing existing business models to guide future decisions
• Conduct research and analytical support for internal customers, including financial and data analysis
Project Work:
• Support internal stakeholders in developing and reviewing annual business cases, validating cost and benefits
• Serve as the SCOE Finance point of contact for special projects
Senior Financial Analyst Requirements
• BA in Accounting or Finance
• 10 years of experience in Accounting & Finance (accrual accounting)
• 8 years of experience managing large budgets ($100M+)
• 8 years of experience supporting senior-level leadership
• 8 years of experience performing data analytics
• 8 years of experience reporting financial results to internal stakeholders (budget vs actual variances)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Senior Financial Analyst Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technically savvy and detail-oriented
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of GAAP Accounting and best practices
• Ability to adapt to different audiences and manage time effectively

Job Description
Job Overview:
- Start Time: 10 business days post-offer
- Work Setup: 100% remote
- Job Level: Not entry-level; candidate must hit the ground running
- Managerial Scope: Manage 3 business units, start with 1 unit first for 30 days to assess fit
- Conversion to Permanent: Potential after 1 year if candidate is a good fit
Key Responsibilities (First 90 Days):
- Manage telesales, customer interactions, and vendor relationships (3 vendors)
- Month-end tasks: accruals, gap accounting, budgeting, forecasting
- Support department’s finance operations and vendor relations
- Ensure adherence to best accounting practices
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have strong accounting experience and the ability to learn quickly
- Experience: 10 years preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree sufficient
- Skills: Strong Excel (formulas), gap accounting, accruals, forecasting, budgeting, planning
- Communication: Ability to present data clearly to director-level staff, budget meetings every month
Compensation:
- Post-Perm Salary: $90-120k/year, depending on skill level
Working Hours:
- Flexible 9-5, EST preferred but open to flexibility based on location
Additional Notes:
- Managerial role, will connect with their vendors for vendor inquiries (3 main vendors) on a weekly basis, will not get a ton of calls from them
- Support 4 executive directors, must be able to present information concisely
- 1 interview with manager
