ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Durham NC 27703 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $18.20/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Assembler will support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for picking, labeling, packaging, and delivering components according to manufacturing orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick, label, and package materials accurately according to production requirements
  • Deliver components and materials to designated production areas
  • Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Verify parts, quantities, and documentation for accuracy
  • Use basic computer systems for order tracking and documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support production goals by meeting quality and productivity standards
  • Cross-train in multiple departments and assist where needed
  • Work overtime as required to meet business demands

ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • Ability to read and follow manufacturing orders and instructions
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and system navigation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Stable work history with at least 1-2 years of employment experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production floor setting
  • Exposure to standard production equipment and noise levels
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
