ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Durham NC 27703 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18.20/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Assembler will support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for picking, labeling, packaging, and delivering components according to manufacturing orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick, label, and package materials accurately according to production requirements
- Deliver components and materials to designated production areas
- Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
- Verify parts, quantities, and documentation for accuracy
- Use basic computer systems for order tracking and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support production goals by meeting quality and productivity standards
- Cross-train in multiple departments and assist where needed
- Work overtime as required to meet business demands
ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Ability to read and follow manufacturing orders and instructions
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and system navigation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred
- Stable work history with at least 1-2 years of employment experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production floor setting
- Exposure to standard production equipment and noise levels
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
