Assembler | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Sumter, SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $21/hr
• Required Availability: 8a-8p | 3-days on, 2-days off, 2-on, 3-off | hours may vary

Assembler | Summary and Highlights:

The Assembler role involves performing various tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Assembler | Responsibilities:

• Setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Conducting quality inspections on the processing line according to established specifications.
• Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhering to quality and safety guidelines.

Assembler | Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
• 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret English-language specifications and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using measurement tools such as microscopes.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

Top 5 Required Skills:

• Mechanical Troubleshooting Experience
• Proficiency in Using Feeler Gauges & Measurement Tools (to check tolerances, torque, and clearances)
• Familiarity with Mechanical Components & Systems, including cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, and ball valves.
• Ability to Lift & Carry up to 50 Pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
