ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

  • Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
  • Payrate: $18.50/hr
  • Required Availability: Full-Time | 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
    • H Shift - 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. Weekends included

ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Assembler will support the production and packaging of medical devices in a manufacturing environment. This role includes assembly, inspection, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and quality-focused production work while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assemble, manufacture, test, and package products
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
  • Perform quality inspections according to specifications
  • Follow SOPs and quality standards throughout production
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production documentation
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Rotate between production tasks and responsibilities as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
  • Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Basic math and measurement skills required
  • Ability to use tools such as microscopes and measuring devices
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime or extended hours

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Steel toe shoes required
