MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 7:50 PM – 8:00 AM, Rotating 3-2-2-3 Schedule
- Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule
- Training schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM – 4:00 PM
- Ability to work overtime or extended hours as needed
MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Medical Device Assembler will support the manufacturing and packaging of medical devices in a clean, fast-paced production environment. This role includes assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, and equipment operation while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble, test, inspect, and package medical devices
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections according to production specifications
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Use measurement tools such as microscopes and other inspection equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and production records
- Rotate between tasks and support team production goals
MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLER | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions and specifications
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Steel toe shoes required
- Ability to work overtime or extended hours as needed
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use hands continuously throughout shifts
