ASSEMBLER (MEDICAL DEVICES) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Sumter SC 29153 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $18.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Rotating schedule: 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
- Weekend work required
ASSEMBLER (MEDICAL DEVICES) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing, packaging, and inspecting medical devices while operating and maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The Assembler works closely with quality and production teams to ensure products meet specifications, follows established procedures and safety standards, and supports efficient production operations. Candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, working in a team environment, and maintaining attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

ASSEMBLER (MEDICAL DEVICES) | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble, manufacture, test, and package medical devices
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections according to established specifications
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Use basic measurement tools and equipment, including microscopes
- Maintain accurate production standards and quality requirements
- Rotate between workstations and job duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Support a safe and productive work environment
ASSEMBLER (MEDICAL DEVICES) | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ year of assembly or manufacturing experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions in English
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Steel-toe shoes required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work flexible or extended hours when needed
