ASSEMBLER (KITTING) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Covington GA 30014 – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $15.50/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6am- 2:30pm – OT may be required
ASSEMBLER (KITTING) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Assembler (Kitting) will join a fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble product kits, inspect materials, and help prepare finished products for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
ASSEMBLER (KITTING) | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble product kits on a production line
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality
- Move materials using handcarts and light equipment
- Read rulers and perform basic measurements
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently to meet production goals
ASSEMBLER (KITTING) | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1 year of continuous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, production, or quality role
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Work Environment
- Production line environment
- Standing for most of the shift
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Facility may be hot during summer months and cool during winter months
