Job Description:
Audiologists provide a full range of audiological services. Services include audiological evaluation, electronystagmography, evoked potential testing, real ear analysis, industrial hearing conservation services, hearing aid evaluation/dispensing, and aural rehabilitation.

Audiologist Schedule & Location:

  • Shift Type: Days
  • Hours/Day: 8 (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
  • Shift Notes: 40 hours per week
  • Weekend Requirements: None
  • On Call Requirements: None
  • location: Mattoon IL 61938 United States

Audiologist Salary/Wage:

  • $70,000 - $110,000 annually
  • Potential Sign-On and Relocation bonus discussed during the interview

Audiologist Duties:

  • Maintain and consistently demonstrate competency in all areas of assigned client care needs while pursuing additional education or in-service opportunities to remain current.
  • Coordinate schedules and assignments effectively to ensure maximum productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Administer and evaluate videonystagmography tests.
  • Perform electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids for troubleshooting and documentation of function. Conduct real ear analysis/speech mapping for optimal hearing aid adjustment.
  • Conduct complete audiometric hearing test batteries for differential diagnosis of hearing loss or other specific objectives for patients across the pediatric to geriatric spectrum.
  • Provide counseling to patients and families on hearing mechanisms, hearing loss, and hearing aid usage.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Audiologist Required Qualification:

  • 2 years of experience – Required
  • Must be a Licensed Audiologist – Required

 

Audiologist Education:

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent – Required
  • Active Audiologist license in the state of Illinois – Required
