Automation Tech - Shift Lead (2nd & 3rd shift openings)
Highland Park, MI
This position reports to the Highland Park Automation Engineering/Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Lead automation/maintenance technicians, implement and ensure all processes and equipment are maintained
- Schedule, maintain and improve the Preventative Maintenance program to maximize equipment uptime and production yield
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment in a timely manner
- Guide compliance of safe work practices at all times
- Drive CI for all equipment and technologies to meet performance targets
- Support production teams towards achieving goals and initiatives

Minimum Qualifications: (If you do not meet the minimum qualifications you will not be interviewed)
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience preferred, ability to provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to team
- Experienced with troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance on automated production equipment
- Must be results driven, with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be team-oriented, safety conscious and reliable
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office programs
- 98% attendance or higher and must maintain this throughout the selection process
- No corrective actions above a 1st Written Warning throughout the selection process
- Must have demonstrated excellent work habits for a period of not less than six months in present job
