BCBA Applied Behavior Analyst
Location: Remote (CA preferred)
Pay: $61–$70/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
A-Line Staffing is hiring a BCBA Applied Behavior Analyst for a remote Behavioral Health role supporting ABA / BHT services under the EPSDT benefit. This position is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who can review FBA assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation for medical necessity and best-practice alignment, while collaborating with care teams and provider networks to support appropriate services for members with ASD.
What you’ll do
- Review FBA/ABA assessments and ABA treatment plans for guideline adherence and medical necessity criteria
- Review diagnostic evaluations from licensed psychologists to confirm recommendations for ABA/BHT services
- Support operational utilization management workflows and appropriate provider linkage/coordination
- Partner with behavioral health teams and stakeholders to address barriers, clarify needs/goals, and support complex cases as needed
- Develop/update workflows and training protocols supporting ABA navigation day-to-day operations
- Prepare reports for internal, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements (quality/compliance)
- Monitor utilization patterns and recommend improvements to enhance quality and service delivery
- Collaborate with delegated vendors and providers; support audit/compliance readiness activities as needed
What you need
- Active BCBA or BCBA-D required
- 3+ years providing ABA/BHT therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (required)
- Strong experience reviewing clinical documentation and treatment plans for best practices and medical necessity
- Excellent written documentation and communication skills
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment with quality/productivity expectations
- Managed care, public agency, or healthcare delivery system experience preferred
