Location: Remote (U.S.)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary Range: $85,592 – $128,377 annually

Department: IT & Services – Data & Analytics Resource

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Systems Application Analyst III – Epic Willow Ambulatory to join our IT & Services team supporting Ambulatory Pharmacy Services. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic Willow Ambulatory applications while collaborating with clinical, pharmacy, and technical teams to improve workflows and enhance patient care.

The ideal candidate combines strong Epic application build expertise with a clinical pharmacy background and has a passion for delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Nursing, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Active Epic certification in the relevant application(s) required upon hire.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of application support experience.

  • Epic Willow Ambulatory build and configuration experience.

  • Licensed Pharmacist or previous pharmacist background with ambulatory pharmacy experience.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical application support.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare IT experience supporting pharmacy systems.

  • Two (2) or more years of project management or application lead experience.

  • Experience implementing or optimizing Epic applications across multiple departments.

  • Experience working in complex healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow Ambulatory applications.

  • Analyze clinical and operational workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, and IT teams to implement system enhancements.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide advanced production support.

  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and implementation activities.

  • Coordinate cross-functional discussions to develop effective technology solutions.

  • Document workflows, build decisions, and technical specifications.

  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on application best practices.

  • Lead or participate in projects with minimal supervision while ensuring project milestones are achieved.

  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and patient safety.
