A-Line Staffing is now hiring for a Behavioral Health Service Manager in the Austin, TX 78741 area. The Behavioral Health Service Manager would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.

Traveling Radius: Most of the face-to-face assessments can be completed via Zoom with video. However, there are some assessments that do require in-person visits. Assignments are made based on member/Service Coordinator proximity in order to minimize travel time wherever possible. In metro areas, travel is usually somewhere within a 10-30 mile radius. Travel distance may increase in rural areas but we always work to minimize travel time as much as possible so team members are able to focus on member-facing tasks.

Behavioral Health Service Manager Compensation:
  • The pay for this position is $32 - $38 hourly, plus mileage reimbursement
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Behavioral Health Service Manager Highlights:
  • The required availability for this position is as follows: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Behavioral Health Service Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee a caseload of members in foster care both children and adolescents
  • Outreach-telephonically, virtual, or in person
  • Work urgent requests such as court orders, medication issues, or other special projects (these vary)
  • Participate in all team meetings, case rounds, and supervision meetings with their manager
  • Complete case updates, documentation, person centered service plans, assessments, etc.
  • Communication with internal and external partners/providers (DFPS Caseworkers, Community Based Care, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrist, PCP, etc.)
  • Performance expectations/metrics:
    • Completing all required training
    • Maintain compliance and timely outreach on cases
    • Meet state deliverable timelines and follow applicable work processes
    • Ability to maintain and active caseload of 60-75 based on membership need
    • Maintain quality audit score of 90% or greater
    • Flexible with change, and ability to multi-task
    • Positive attitude and good customer service

Behavioral Health Service Manager Requirements:
  • Licensed as an LPC or LCSW
  • Case Management experience
  • Clinical Behavioral Health experience with children and adolescents
  • Master’s Degree
  • Software Skills Required: Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software quickly with training
Behavioral Health Service Manager Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the foster care population or child welfare
  • Motivational interviewing skills
