Hours: Standard business hours, 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities of the Position
The Operations Manager is responsible for the direct management and oversight of service locations, site leadership, and enrolled members. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring a full continuum of quality behavioral health services is provided to children, and their families.
The accountabilities for the Operations Manager include oversite and administration of all functions of the organization. A background that includes the following experience will demonstrate the professional aptitude of the individual that can lead with commitment, enthusiasm, and high energy.
Oversight of the delivery of quality services and ensures direct reports carry out services according to company’s vision and the requirements of the service contracts. Provides and ensures weekly supervision is provided to staff, that enhances and further develops their skills to perform their daily work with children and families. Ensures that all supervision is performed in a timely manner and is documented appropriately.
- Collaborate with clinical resources in the development and implementation of clinically appropriate evidence-based programming that is focused on quality and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee and participates in formulating and administering company policies, directing, and coordinating all site’s day to day activities. Develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
- Coordinates and ensures that system documentation meets established quality standards and complies with contracts, licensing, and the provision of excellent clinical care to the members.

- Develop and mentor site leaders by displaying the ability to connect and build relationships with direct reports. Team player with a passion and commitment to the long-term growth of the company. Incorporate these fundamentals into weekly supervisions.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and belief in the opportunities to grow and develop staff and service delivery to the members and families.

Required Education/Experience:
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Behavioral Health field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Academics and/or work experience in business management and operations is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
Other desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office- Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must have a current/unexpired Driver’s license and maintain clean driver’s record for the past 39 months and be willing to utilize personal vehicle for company use (mileage reimbursement available)
- Must maintain a current/valid/unrestricted Level 1 Fingerprint Card
- Extensive knowledge of managed care systems, AHCCCS, Title XIX medical assistance screening and RBHA/DBHS policies and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners.
- Ability and willingness to give and receive coaching and feedback.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service; ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion with the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Must be willing to travel in person to all five locations to provide in person guidance, training and coaching, occasional overnight travel is also required.
