Behavioral Health Provider
Location: Grafton, Ohio
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour
A-Line Staffing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Behavioral Health Provider to coordinate Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) counseling and guidance services for inmates. This role is integral in supporting individuals through a collaborative treatment approach, ensuring continuity of care and rehabilitation.
Job Duties
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and MAT orientations for inmates.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, provide counseling and guidance, and manage discharge planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams (ODRC Medical, Medicaid Enrollment, MHAS Community Linkage) and external Opioid Treatment Providers.
- Monitor and document attendance, participation, and progress of offenders in substance use disorder programs.
- Provide technical assistance for continuing care planning and intervene in crisis situations as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in electronic healthcare systems.
- Support and track MAT participants across assigned institutions.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including peer, utilization, and clinical record reviews.
- Provide technical training to recovery services staff and attend seminars and conferences to stay current with policies and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Public relations and maintaining professional relationships.
- Counseling and interviewing techniques.
- Social sciences and principles of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
Skills in:
- Microsoft Office Suite and standard office equipment.
Ability to:
- Respond appropriately to unusual or threatening situations.
- Analyze data and draw valid conclusions.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports.
- Build rapport with inmates or patients and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
Qualifications
Must hold one of the following licenses:
- Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) or III (LCDC III).
- Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC).
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
- Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) or Professional Counselor (PC).
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or Independent Marriage & Family Therapist.
- Licensed Psychologist.
- Licensed Physician.
- Registered Nurse (RN).
