Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Compensation
• The pay for this position is $30.00 per hour
• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (No weekends or holidays, 11 state holidays off)
• This is a long-term assignment with no overtime approved
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Highlights
• This is a contract assignment with potential to become permanent based on performance, attendance, and business needs.
• LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LSW (Licensed Social Worker) license required.
• Enjoy weekends and holidays off with 11 state holidays.
• Be part of a collaborative and supportive team providing specialized sex offender treatment services.
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Responsibilities
• Sex Offender Interventions: Work within a team to provide sex offender interventions for a caseload of offenders, utilizing evidence-based correctional program strategies.
• Assessments & Screenings: Conduct screenings and assessments of offenders to determine treatment needs and develop personalized care plans.
• Group Therapy: Lead and facilitate group interventions for sex offenders in a correctional setting, adhering to prescribed treatment protocols.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all offender interactions, entering data into electronic health records (EHR) as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other institutional staff to address offenders' treatment needs and institutional adjustments.
• Reporting: Complete reports, transfer, and discharge summaries in compliance with institutional protocols.
• Professional Development: Attend training and workshops to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in behavioral healthcare.
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Requirements
• LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LSW (Licensed Social Worker) license is required.
• Prior experience in behavioral healthcare or working with offenders in a correctional setting preferred.
• Ability to work with sensitive populations and provide interventions within a structured and regulated environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work under clinical supervision and follow established protocols.
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in sex offender treatment programs or similar specialized interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to behavioral health services in correctional settings.
