Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician in Mansfield, OH.
The Behavioral Health Clinician would be working in a correctional facility and providing essential mental health services to inmates. This is a full-time position with the flexibility of either a 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shift, Monday through Friday.
Behavioral Health Clinician Compensation
• The pay for this position is $34 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Behavioral Health Clinician Highlights
• This position requires Crisis Watch precaution coverage
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, either 7:30 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Behavioral Health Clinician Responsibilities
• Complete detailed mental health evaluations and crisis services, including suicide watch assessments
• Provide clinical direction to lower-level workers and may serve as treatment team coordinator
• Conduct advanced practice individual and group clinical interventions based on the treatment plan
• Provide clinical case management services and monitor offender compliance with the mental health treatment plan
• Complete psychosocial needs assessments and treatment plans as part of interdisciplinary planning
• Consult with institution staff about inmate mental health caseload and treatment needs
• Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies
• Complete all necessary documentation, including inmate contacts, clinical case management progress notes, discharge plans, and reports
• Attend meetings, supervision sessions, in-service training, and workshops for professional development
• Participate in peer review and other assigned activities
Behavioral Health Clinician Requirements
• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board (LSW is not acceptable)
• Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and case management
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and decision-making skills
