Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Compensation
  • The pay for this position is $38.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Highlights
  • This position is a long-term contract assignment
  • Part-time hours: Monday – Friday, between 8:00am and 5:00pm
  • 20–24 hours per week (flexible days/hours within that time window)
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Responsibilities
  • Assess the risk of suicide and mental health stability for incarcerated juveniles
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for youth in correctional facilities
  • Make informed clinical decisions regarding treatment needs and placement
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) team for effective service delivery
  • Provide coverage during weekends and holidays as needed and coordinated with BHS
Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Requirements
  • Experience in clinical decision-making with suicidal clients
  • Experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments of youth
  • Must hold one of the following independent licenses in Ohio:
    • LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)
    • LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
    • IMFT (Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • Completion of required continuing professional education for license maintenance
  • May be exposed to potentially violent clients, unusual noise or odors, or contagious diseases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for working with justice-involved youth
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
