Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Plano, TX 75093 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $21-24/hr – rate is set based on years of experience
• Required Availability: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant | Summary and Highlights:

The Bilingual Medical Assistant role involves assisting physicians and clinicians with patient care, ensuring efficient patient flow, and performing administrative tasks.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant | Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes before physician visits.
• Answer patient phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate medical staff.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, chart preparation, faxing, and filing.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Requires standing/walking for extended periods.

Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant | Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable). Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
• 1+ year of experience in Medical Assisting
• IV skills/experience is a plus.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
