Job Description
- Ensure timely and accurate billing for unbilled claims and outstanding balances, demonstrating excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers.
- Work within multiple operating systems and web-based programs to retrieve document images and collect supporting information on claims.
- Conduct claims resolution to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate billing practices.
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with LTC facility staff, pharmacy operations staff, prescriber offices, third-party payers, and patients to facilitate billing processes.
***Critical Information***
- Hybrid work environment with potential for remote work based on performance and business needs.
- Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to safety protocols.
***Education/Licenses Needed***
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare reimbursement, medical insurance/billing, or related work.
- Experience in healthcare reimbursement systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
