Billing Specialist (Remote)
Location: Dublin, OH (Remote)
Type: Contract (W2)
Pay: $22.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Interview Required: Yes

Position Overview
We’re hiring a Billing Specialist to support Contracts & Billing finance operations. In this role, you’ll research and resolve billing/shipment transaction issues, identify root causes, and help drive solutions that improve accuracy and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Research unmatched customer shipment transactions to identify the correct PO number and/or cost center details so transactions can be invoiced
- Research and resolve exception lines
- Identify and document customer-specific behaviors contributing to billing issues
- Develop and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues
- Participate in daily/weekly billing team meetings (metrics, open issues, priorities)
- Maintain strong internal controls while working collaboratively in a finance environment
- Respond to non-standard requests from customers/vendors as needed
- Stay organized, prioritize effectively, and contribute to a positive, productive team environment
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner; able to navigate processes with minimal reference material
- Comfortable asking questions and clarifying requirements
- SAP experience (preferred/strong plus)
- 1+ year of relevant experience
Education (Preferred)
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
