Job Description
Title: Business Analyst V
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Note: This role is NOT open to C2C or 3rd party candidates
The Business Analyst will receive, process, and present data and information regarding weekly Service Requests (Infrastructure Service Requests). They will be responsible for gathering business and technical requirements during the client kick off meetings and consulting with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) on tasks required to complete integrated projects for all Telecommunication services, such as WAN, WLAN, MLAN, Security, Contact/Call Centers, Telephony, and Video. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects based on agency assignments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings with clients to gather requirements for all IT solutions and identify impacted business processes to determine best process and IT solution integration
- Obtain and report on business and technical requirements
- Facilitate review sessions to discuss projects
- Work with multiple network platforms, such as WAN, MLAN, WLAN, Security, Voice, and video conferencing
- Disseminate information effectively to all technical teams, customers, and technical managers, utilizing an understanding of large (enterprise) and complex network environment
- 5+ years of experience interacting with and dealing with customers and end users
- 3-5 years of experience in a large, enterprise setting
- 3-5 years of experience working within a telecommunications environment and with multiple network platforms and/or network lines of service
- 3-5 years of experience with Remedy/Helix
- 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Previous experience working with multiple agencies, vendors, and/or departments in enterprise environments
- 2+ years of experience with DevOps processes preferred
- 1+ year of experience with Clarity preferred
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
