CAT Scan Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $75.00-77.00 per hour

CAT Scan Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Varied Shifts available:
• Sun, Mon, Tues, Sat 7:00am – 6:00pm
• Sun – Wed 9:00pm – 7:00am
• Mon – Fri 3:00pm – 11:00pm

CAT Scan Technician Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment and supplies for specific procedures
• Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols
• Maintains sterility of field and instruments
• Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient
• The technologist will adhere to all HIPPA regulations and respect the patient’s privacy
• Verifies patient identification according to the policy
• Observes patient’s condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist

CAT Scan Technician Requirements

• Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program
• State RT License Certified
• At least 1 year’ experience as CT Tech
