Job Description
A-Line Staffing is now hiring CVE Test Engineer in Longmont, CO 80501. The CVE Test Engineer would be working for a Major Semiconductor Manufacturer and has career growth potential.
CVE Test Engineer Highlights:
- Schedule: Day - Mon to Fri - 8 Hours
- Pay Range: $55-60 Hourly
CVE Test Engineer Responsibilities:
- Technical Ownership:
- Review and optimize current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to improve effectiveness and efficiency across the product portfolio.
- Recommend and implement new validation approaches to enhance coverage, accuracy, and testing services.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product functionality and industry certifications.
- Identify suitable testing equipment.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery deadlines.
- Validation Strategy:
- Understand and verify test cases to ensure functional validation.
- Collaborate with CVE and product design teams to enhance test cases and ensure alignment with FW and HW architecture.
- Support shift-left initiatives to move failure detection from customer tests to internal-developed test frameworks.
- Test Design and Development:
- Define, plan, and execute a test automation strategy to contribute to the development of in-house automation frameworks/tools.
- Continuously evaluate, refine, and enforce validation processes and methodologies.
- Develop test cases and scripts for automation.
- Test Execution:
- Supply and pre-format SSD and server samples for validation.
- Execute product validation flow according to the programmed validation plan.
- Monitor test time and work on test time reduction.
- Analyze test results, including Bin Pareto analysis.
- Report Generation:
- Report findings in a clear format, with concise comments and detailed explanations.
- Track and document revisions to maintain a historical reference of testing efforts.
- Defect Management:
- Identify root causes and drive the resolution of failures from upstream/downstream teams, customers, and other partners.
- Implement clear steps to reproduce failures, ensuring traceability to bugs/gaps/escapes.
- Collaborate with partner teams to assess test results and generate deviation reports.
CVE Test Engineer Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of product functionality and industry certifications.
- Experience with test design and execution for SSDs and servers.
- Familiarity with automated test strategies and scripting.
- Ability to analyze and report test results effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with partner teams and resolve issues.
