Patient Access Specialist - Data Intake | Details and Compensation:
- Location: Remote
- Payrate: $20/hr
- Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 8 hours between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST (Flex Schedule; must work during normal business hours)
- Must be available for 100% of training (M–F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST) (September Start Date)
Patient Access Specialist - Data Intake | Summary and Highlights:
The Patient Access Specialist - Data Intake will be responsible for reviewing incoming documentation, identifying key data points, and contributing to essential reporting for healthcare operations. It's the behind-the-scenes work that makes the frontline magic possible.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Patient Access Specialist - Data Intake | Responsibilities:
- Review inbound faxed documents and identify reportable events
- Navigate activity reports of pharmacy orders and manage assigned cases
- Enter accurate data into internal systems
- Create and document Adverse Event (AE) reports
- Collaborate across teams to ensure timely and compliant processing
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality
Patient Access Specialist - Data Intake | Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service-focused or document-intensive environment
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Quick learner with the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- A proactive mindset and the ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency

- Ping rate: maximum 30ms
