Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our client in a large medical center. This perm/direct hire position plays a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to patients. The facility has been awarded America’s 50 Best for Cardiac Surgery 10 years in a row (2015-2024).
Salary Range: $53.72 to $70.53 per hour & comprehensive benefits
Employment Type: Regular, Standard Schedule
Required Availability: Full-time / 40 hours per week - DAY shift - Participates in on-call or standby schedule as required
Relocation: Available Nationwide

Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic procedures, using knowledge, skills and abilities required for age of patient served to include: Routine, emergent, portable, surgical examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communication with Cardiologist.
- Assist patient/transport.
- Data Entry and file work.
- Restocking supplies/cleaning.
- Quality Assurance functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a minimum two-year AMA-approved program and one year of ultrasound training and certification OR Two years Allied Health education with successful completion and certification of a two-year ARDMS program OR Completion of an AMA-accredited ultrasound program with ARDMS or CCI registration (new graduates must obtain registration within one year of hire)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification within 12 months of hire
- Sonography Technologist License in the State of Oregon
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire
Preferred
- Prior experience with Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Stress Echocardiogram, and Pediatric Echocardiography
- Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning; attention to detail; problem solving, decision making, judgment; technical skills; initiative; communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations
- Adaptability; following Policies and Procedures; flexibility
- Able to work unsupervised and perform exams independently and confidently
