Cardiac Sonographer Highlights

• The pay for this position is $41.00-$44.00 per hour.
• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM – No weekends, holidays, or on-call.
• Onsite position
• This position is a contract opportunity with potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Perform all echocardiography modalities including 2D, M-Mode, Color Flow, Continuous Wave Doppler, Stress, and Pharmacologic Stress Echo, as well as Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Analyze patients’ clinical history to tailor examinations and provide accurate assessments including systolic/diastolic function, ejection fraction, wall motion, pulmonary pressure, valvular abnormalities, and strain imaging.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment; perform cleaning and high-level disinfection of TEE probes per protocol.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and report critical values promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and demonstrate service excellence using the HEAL model (Hear, Empathize, Address, Learn).
• Display professionalism, adaptability, and strong technical expertise in all interactions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CPR/BLS certification – Mandatory
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI – Mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years' experience performing echocardiography
• Strain imaging experience – Preferred
• Onsite presence required; this is not a remote or hybrid role
