Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse Summary and Highlights:
- Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
- Shift: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week | No on-call
- Vascular and cardiac tele unit, 1:5
The Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse Details and Compensation:
- Location: Akron, OH 44304
- Payrate: 48/hr - Negotiable based on traveler status and experience
- Required Availability: Nights, 7pm – 730am | 36 hours per week | Some weekends and holidays
Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- This is a vascular and cardiac tele unit which is like a PCU unit.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC
- Ratios 1:5
Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse Requirements:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing through the CCNE or ACEN
- Active OH RN License
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must have pre and post cardiac cath experience and vascular surgery experience
- Must have recent experience in lab draws
- Sheath pulling experience preferred
- Must be able to draw blood and start/manage IV’s.
- BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications (current)
- EPIC experience in the last year
