Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $55.00 per hour.
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
  • The required availability for this position is 7pm to 7am (3 x12s)

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

  • 6-bed cardiac open-heart cardiac thoracic vascular unit.
  • RN MUST have 2+ years of open-heart experience.
  • ACLS/BLS/NIH Required.
  • Recent EPIC experience is required and must be provided on resume within the last year.
  • Must be independent in obtaining labs and initiating IV's.
  • CVICU Skills checklist is required upon submission.
  • Ratios are usually 1:1 or 1:2 but can go up to 1:3.

Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

  • RN MUST have 2+ years of open-heart experience.
  • ACLS/BLS/NIH Required.
  • Recent EPIC experience is required and must be provided on resume within the last year.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
