Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician will assist with fulfilling patient orders, ensuring timely and accurate medication dispensing. This role supports inventory management, patient safety, and compliance with treatment plans under the direction of the Director of Operations Central Fill and Team Lead.

Pharmacy Technician Schedule & Location:

Location:  Plano TX 75024 United States
Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pharmacy Technician Salary/Wage:

$19.00

Pharmacy Technician Duties:

Process and manage patient medication orders for Pharmacist verification
Coordinate and facilitate medication delivery to patients
Utilize pharmacy technology and automation to optimize workflow
Maintain inventory levels, conduct audits, and collaborate with suppliers
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
Work closely with pharmacists for accurate and timely medication preparation
Promote teamwork, professionalism, and clear communication

Pharmacy Technician Required Qualifications:

Valid Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (SBOP)
Strong attention to detail and ability to transcribe pharmaceutical information accurately
Ability to follow established procedures and safety regulations

Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods
Capability to bend, reach, climb, squat, lift, push, or pull a minimum of 40 lbs

Pharmacy Technician Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
