Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite Only
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour, paid bi-weekly

A-Line Staffing is actively hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for a long-term opportunity with a physician network in Bellaire, TX. We’ve partnered with this client for over 5 years, and this position has high potential to convert to direct hire based on performance and attendance within the first 6 months!

Job Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP – start once onboarding clears!

• Full-Time | 40 hours/week

• Benefits available after 90 days (Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-Term Disability)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize clinic rooms, supplies, and testing materials prior to patient visits

• Room patients, document vitals, chief complaint, medication list, allergies, and more

• Perform and assist with procedures such as EKGs, spirometry, hearing/vision testing, specimen collection, etc.

• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals; complete routine clerical tasks (scanning, faxing, etc.)

• Communicate with patients in-person and by phone, including emergency situations

• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations

• Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of patient rooms

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program – Required

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant and 2+ years overall in a healthcare setting

• Active BLS Certification – Required

• CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA certification – Required

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
